Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level Examination, known as SSC CGL is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India. It’s conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting the staff for various Group B and Group C posts.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a government organization that conducts various exams every year (SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC JE, Junior Hindi Translator, SSC GD Constable, SSC Multitasking Staff, Selection Post, SI (Central Police Organization. Stenographer C & D) to recruit candidates for Group-B and -C posts in various ministries/departments/organizations of Government of India. This article talks about all SSC CHSL:-

Tier-II  of the Combined Graduate (10+2) Level Examination

 Tier-I exam qualified Candidates are allowed to appear in Tier-II which is a descriptive type in Hindi/English writing skills. The questions are based on the High School (10th std) concept.

  • SSC CHSL Tier-II includes an Essay writing (200-250 words) & application/letter writing (150-200 words). A minimum mark candidates need to obtain in Tier-II is 33%.
  • SSC CHSL Tier-II is of 100 marks and the total time duration for the exam is 60 minutes for General Candidates and 80 minutes for the visually handicapped candidates.

Tier-III of the Combined Graduate (10+2) Level Examination.

After qualifying the SSC CHSL Tier-II exam, Candidates are invites for skill test which includes:-

  • Typing test = 15 minutes for general candidates and the speed needs to write 30 words per minute for English medium and 35 words per minute for Hindi Medium.
  • For Visually Handicapped candidates (40% disabled) = 30 minutes.
